Portugal, Malta, Spain, Greece, France, Italy and Turkey.


What are the UK's rules?
Foreign holidays are legal, but under England's traffic light system very few countries
are on the green list of safe destinations.

The government says you should not holiday in amber and red countries. If you do,
quarantine rules apply and there are Covid tests before and after you return.

However, the government is considering removing the need to quarantine for double-
vaccinated travellers from England returning from amber list countries.

Traffic light decisions are reviewed by ministers every three weeks, with the next
decision expected on 24 June. The number of Covid cases and vaccination rate are
among factors considered.
