Perhaps surprisingly, he only garnered 15% of the vote to Mahomes’ 53%. Maybe it was the exclamation point the Chiefs and Mahomes put on Week 4 with the spotlight on Monday Night Football while the Rams were further back in the memory kicking things off back on Thursday Night Football Cory Littleton Jersey , but I thought this was pretty low.The confidence levels of Rams fans is honestly kind of boring right now. We’re 4-0 and cranking. Of course fan confidence is high. Perhaps there’s some interest in the storyline that we’re back to 100% after dipping to 97% last week, but honestly this is kind of obvious at this point.Consider the weekly point spread results:Odds: Rams 7.5 point favorites over SeahawksTurf Show Times FanPulse: Rams by 16Field Gulls FanPulse: Rams by 10So yeah. We’re all on the same page here.One other FanPulse vote of note? Pittsburgh Steelers fans’ lagging endorsement of their head coach, Mike Tomlin:The Steelers are currently 1-2-1 having given up 116 points thus far this season; the Rams, for reference, have only given up 67. So I can understand the frustration. Still, this seems awfully hyperactive given the last decade the Steelers have enjoyed under Tomlin who, in his 11 seasons as the Steelers’ head coach, has guided them through exactly 0 losing seasons. Yes Nickell Robey-Coleman Jersey , their two Super Bowl appearances were back in 2008 and 2010, but the Steelers were in the AFC Championship just two seasons ago. To put Tomlin on the hot seat seems awfully trigger happy.So anyway, thanks as always to the TSTers who are voting to give us the data each week! If you’ve been following along this week, you know that the Los Angeles Rams are about as healthy as you could ever ask them to be as they head into the NFC Championship game against the New Orleans Saints. That bodes well in what is now the most important 60 minutes of their entire season.And the Friday injury report isn’t going to raise any concerns. The Saints, however, will be without a pair of pass-catchers. And despite the injury report listing him as questionable for Sunday’s game, the Saints will indeed be without veteran tight end Benjamin Watson — as it was announced earlier that he’ll miss the game with appendicitis. You’ve got to feel for a 15-year veteran like Watson Andrew Whitworth Jersey , who announced he’ll retire after this season. Should the Rams win on Sunday, it’s clearly not the exit to his career the 38 year old TE had envisioned. But the absence of Watson and Keith Kirkwood, along with the dinged up nature of their offensive line, bode well for the Rams. |
